It was quite an experience. Once we sat down, people just start to bring us food and pour into the little dishes. It was fun and everything was very tasty. Some are spicer than others but everything was delicious. Will definitely come back for more.

Much more than a restaurant, this is a cultural experience. Excellent food. The delivery is very different from what we are used to. The food selection is varied and quite remarkable.

The food is so satisfying and worth it that I have drive multiple times, from Austin to Houston, just for the thali. The business owner/manager (uncle) is way too sweet and friendly, makes you feel like you are in India. The service is fast and as nice as expected in a thali place. This place always has a waiting. Parking is not an issue. The ambiance is nice.

Maharaja Bhog has consistently been a reason for us to drive from Austin to Houston for some great quality Indian food. I think the experience in Houston for Indian food is so diverse and this place is no exception. Ambiance is great. I love the concept of Thalis and the servers are super generous in service always offering more and more. Certain dishes are standouts, like the basundi and the cutlets but I've noticed that this time a few of the curries are bit oilier than before. I think the dal baati and churma are nice and they have a regular dal and kadhi which are good with the plain rice. However I have to knock off one star because the host stand was really trying to rush us out giving us the check while I was still eating and trying multiple times to clear my plate as well when my husband was in the bathroom. I know there is a rush and want to be mindful of that but it just makes me feel a bit frustrated when the business is looking to turn over my table specifically when they wait on other tables to finish before giving them the bill. Overall I think the experience is good, and would definitely return but would love to come and not be rushed out!

This was a great dining experience! I loved how I was able to try so many new dishes with their AYCE dinner thali. The owner/manager was super helpful in explaining every dish presented. The servers do a good job of stopping by your table often to ask if you want anything refilled. My favorite dishes were the ones that contained Lima beans, eggplant, and lentils. The roti was fresh, pillowy, and addicting. Also loved the appetizers, sauces, and desserts. I was thoroughly satisfied with my meal, especially since everything was vegetarian!

This is a vegetarian cloud nine. They serve Indian food in Thali style (small metal bowls with an individual dish). They constantly refill everything as you eat. Very tasty and something like 12-13 course meal!

This place is incredible! And also a vegetarian's dream. The food is authentic and so is the experience. You're served thaali style - it's a set menu that everyone gets and it's essentially a served vegetarian buffet for $25/person. Waiters will come around and refill your plate based on what you want. The line outside this place during weekend lunches is pretty crazy, so I'd get there early. They run this place like a machine - you come in, eat, and leave. And the service parallels that. So as long as you come in expecting that, you'll have a great experience! I have friends and family who visit from out of the state just to go to this restaurant!

I have been inhaling the delicious vegetarian food every time I drop off stuff at Goodwill behind Mahabharata Bhog during Covid pandemic. They had been operating and never close. Fast forward to 2023! I was grateful that I finally got a chance to eat here. I came here for a friend's birthday. We had lunch $22.99 was well spent. Because of their all you can eat in the format of bringing food to you, instead of get up and walk over to the buffet line. I have consumed enough Indian food, I could literally explain it to my friend as the food placed on our trays. My favorite part of meal was the variety of starches. I can ask as little or much as I want.
